Someone got stupid

Yeah, my friend's friend apparantly OC his CPU to 1GHZ. OK everything seems fine, but his CPU was an Intel PI @ 75MHZ. Most likely to say, his CPU melted. How people get that stupid? Just buy a new board and CPU!

Not worth the risk if altering and messign abouyt with the BIOS,as end up regretting it inless you know what you are doing.

i think on any mobo you can alter the bios fsb and multiplier to the max, so that in theory could be possible. It would read the clock speed as that, but then it would black screen on reboot, so you would just have to reset the bios.
