How much better is the sempron 2500 socket vs athlon xp 2800+ or is it the other way around.

Can someone tell me at the point where their both the same, for example like is an athlon 3000 xp the same a sempron 3000+ or is a athlon xp 2800+ the same as a sempron 2300+?
