something is up with the response of typing for me

I was playing around and I accidentally activated a rocket virus and I cleaned it all up. Supposedly I had a Pwdump and something else that I scaned with norton but it couldnt clean it up then I got kasperky internet security and it picked up nothing but from that time on my keyboard has been experiencing lag for ex. when I was playing Battlefield 2 I would press forward for two seconds and then 5 seconds later it would go (delayed response) but it would walk for like 5 seconds even though I pressed forward for 2. and when typing I type and then the word sometimes appears like 3 seconds after I have finished typing it

what to do?
 
I am having the EXACT same problem, and nobody seems to have the answer. I only have this problem in some games, not all of them, but every day new games are getting this problem. It used to only be EA games after I installed tiger woods 08, and now cs 1.6 has theis problem but not cs source. I'm so pissed off and confused. can anybosy help at ALL?
 
Sorry man. I totally forgot about this thread.
Setting the affinity is just setting a certain program or application to run on one core only.
To set the affinity:
-go to task manager (ctrl + alt + delete)
-go to the processes tab
-look for the process you want to alter
-right click go to set affinity and then check one core only
