Somethings wrong with my screen??? Help PLZ

Well when i play games on my computer the color changes.. It is like sqaures and grey and turns to yellow, the sky also turns color and sometimes the objects in the game have color there not suppose to have. I asked one of my friends about it and he said i should change my refresh rate or something like that but idk what that is or where to find it at, so i was wondering if thats the right thing to do or what else should i try???

i have two nVidia cards in there....i plugged the monitor into the top one, should i plug it into the one that is on the bottom??
