Somethings wrong with Youtube

When I type in www.youtube.com in my browser, it takes me to fr.youtube.com which is the French version. Why does it do this?

Mine goes to UK version but it also has on the page "Suggested language - English" and "Suggested country filter - United Kingdom"
Seems like it made the decision for me

Mine doesnt do anything, takes me to the US English site.
I noticed some changes on youtube lately...

youtube is constantly going through renovations, it doesn't surprise me that they mess something up. Make sure your account settings are set to English.
if you have an account,
go to
Account > Personal Profile > Location
make sure it is correct.
