somethings wrong..

didn't really know where to put this thread so i decided to put it here, can't go wrong with general

Anyways, i was putting things into my computer, after i put a really old CD drive into it the computer doesn't boot up anymore, it gets stuck on the "Boot from CD" menu. SO i changed the boot sequence to, floppy>hd>CD. Now i can't detect any CD drives. This second CD drive won't mean life or death to me but it'll be nice to have. Anyone have any ideas?

erm... make sure the jumper settings are corect, then check all cables, cjeck for bent broken pins etc.... all the usual stuff

disconnect and make sure it still works without the cd.... BTW a new cdrom is like $12 if they still make them solo cd readers...
