SONY DVD RW DW-Q30A ATA Device Help

Okay so I have that dvd drive in my computers. For some reason it doesn't read anything off ANY disc I put into it. It opens and closes and comes up in device manager. It says it works in device manager but I can even get a CD to read. I updated the driver for it so I am lost on what else to do. Anyone have any ideas?

Try it in another computer just to make sure its not your system and if it still don't work then you have a bad drive.
