Hey guys, as some of you remember, I came on here a few months ago with some help for my first computer build. My parents unfortunately denied permission for me to go ahead and build one, and now they're urging for me to get a Sony laptop. Being the good son I am (wink wink), I'll just go along with them. However, I said that I'd rather get a model with an i5, if not i7, processor and some more better features such as DDR3 RAM and a better GPU. But my dad was saying that Core 2 is overall better than i5, which I disagreed with? Or I could opt for a custom built one at the Sony website...maybe a CW or E model? What do you guys think about this?
