Sony Vaio LCD Monitor

i have a second hand Sony Vaio 17' LCD Monitor.i tried to connect it with my pc.but it doesn't fit in my VGA slot.

is there any way to convert this in to a normal vga connecter.i don't mind if i have to cut it.

monitor has built in mouse\keybord slots,usb,and stereo speakers.i don't know hot to separate monitor signal wires from it.

help please

Does the connector look like the one on the left in this picture?

if it does, its a DVI connection. To fix your problem then would be to buy an adapter for it to fit a VGA style port like this one :
