Sony Vegas Pro 8.0 vs Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum

What is the difference? I am new to video related softwares and the chart comparison didn't help. What I am looking for is a software that would help me edit a movie, does both of them support that or ONLY the Movie Studio Plat.?

Examples of some editing I have in mind for now are: adding music, a title, maybe some special effects, adding multiple videos into one "all-in-one" video, etc.

The Movie Studio Plat. is about 5x cheaper. shrug*

hmm. don't know the difference cause ive only use vegas8, but problem with vegas8 is that the rendering (output file) is a bit too big.Or it can be probably that i overlooked something but anyways, speaking about vide editing, one app ive always fancy was Adobe Premiere, dunno if you'll like it though.

but hey of stuio Platinum is cheaper then buy it.
