hey, I Have an 8gb sony walkman mp3 played, i love it, but i hate the software that you put the songs on with.

i was just wondering if there was any other software that could be used to transfer the songs to the mp3 player?
and are you able to do it with WMP or iTunes?

thanks in advance :)

Wikipedia has a few programs listed you can use. There's one I never tried that you had to have Sonic Stage installed to make it work. Another loaded right on the unit(under a 1MB) and let you copy files right over without Sonic Stage. It can be used on any computer. I'm a little mad, though. It works on my mom's 1GB player, but not my 2GB player!

Hmm...you know, I don't think the one used for mom's MP3 player's posted anymore. It was from Sony's site, but maybe it was removed because it did basically get around the player's copy protection.

Well, besides those listed, I havn't found anything else worth trying.
