okay, i ripped a dvd to my harddrive using dvd decrypt. When it was done, i checked the .vob file, and its good..audio + video are synced, everything at this point is fine. Now i need to convert it to a wmv so my 360 can play it.

Well i tried converting it with winavi (which usually works) and when it got done, i checked the wmv file, and the audio and video are not synced at all. I tried importing the .vob file into windows movie maker. this worked, but it shows the movie is 4 mintues long...I can play the whole movie in windows movie maker...but it will only "publish" 4 mins of it

please tell me whats going on (or reccommend a better program to use)

thanks, vonfeldt7

Also, if i double posted, sorry...i tried making this post a few minutes ago..but it gave me some error.

Dude you can't post about this kinda stuff man.

Youll probably get a warning or ban now because this is your 2md or 3rd thread on this.

what do you mean i cant post about this? I have a legal copy of a movie, and i want to rip it to my hdd, convert it, and stream to my 360.

As for the double posting, i already mentioned that it gave me an error the first time i tried to click "make new thread" When it gave me the error, i searched for my thread, and found it nowhere, so i figured it must not have worked.

also, (totally off topic) arent you the guy that had that drug problem and "coudlnt operate with sleep"
