Yes but htey suck,usually like 60 people in the whole server,half horde half alliance,no fun,very laggy and unstable,poor conditions to play in.

YOU WILL NOT ENJOY 1 BIT OF IT!
 
They sound interesting..... I used to play WoW but stopped due to I couldn't afford the online fee and never really started up again. So for a person like me, these 'private' servers are convincing, but, like Penguins said, it's not the real McCoy and I wouldn't risk playing them on a legal level in case a Kazaa like crack-down goes out (probably only for the creators but i still wouldn't risk it...).

If you're looking for a 'free' MMORPG that's not complete crap, you can try the Guild Wars series, although they're more of a psuedo-MMORPG more than anything.
