Sound Card Recorder??

Can somebody point me in the direction of a good, efficient, simple sound card recorder? I wanna be able to record directly from my sound card, but every program i've tried either doesn't work or is boojie! =[

Your asking for a program to record your sound card output?

If so, why not try using a 1/8” to 1/8” headphone cable to connect the output of the card to its input then download audacity and hit record. May or may not work but worth a try.

Well, the thing is, nothing for some reason wants to record the sounds my sound card is making. Im using this program that records sounds, and it is recording my microphone, but none of the recording device options is letting me choose from my sound card! I have tried each and every option, and when i try to record noise, it won't record! Hmmmph =[

You could try Audacity. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Theres a drop down menu that is defaulted to record microphone but you can change that to whatever you're trying to record. I think what youre looking to record is "What You Hear"

Yeah that's it,
well Audacity didn't help, but I figured it out. I had to go to my sounds menu thing, view disabled devices, and then enable my sound card as a recording device
