Sound Driver

Hello everyone.
Does anyone have a sound driver for a SIS 964, I think thats the motherboard number and Im pretty sure its inbuilt sound card. If thats not the right number let me know and I'll have another look.
If you know where to download one as well please let me know.
Also is there such thing a universal driver that will work with all sound cards?

search up realtek on google and download there driver and try it out! worked for me a bunch of times most likely work for you to!

I did a search but am not sure which one to use? They have many drivers, Im new to working with computers.

Please download PC Wizard from my sig, install and run it, then go to FILE, SAVE AS and click OK. Then copy the text out of that file into this thread.

Yes that is fine, however SIS are remarkably difficult to determine the right driver.

Go here: http://www.sis.com/support/support_prodid.htm and this will determine exactly what is required.

I follow the link it gave me the correct driver (i think) but when I tryed to install the driver it said I need to update my plug n play driver?

When you run that link look for the chipset driver.

That what it spits out? No chip set driver, i did the IDE because i didnt know what it was so thought it might be it but didnt help.

Yeh as you can see they don't make it easy.

Try and install the 7012 audio driver under XP.
