sound problem

ok so i have these Bose ceiling speakers and there is a RCA input jack in my wall.. i have a SUPREMEFX II sound card that came with the asus striker 2 extreme.

when i switch the course for my speakers, (there are 6 sources, 4 is my computer and the rest are radio stations from a solid source in our basement. The radio feed goes to the box and it sends it to the sources in my room. Those radio stations are crystal clear but when i hook up my red/white RCA plugs to the wall and plug in the 3.5 combined cable into my sound card, when i play music or play games i get a static and huge interference when there is alot of bass... like in games when explosions or synth sounds occur, i get static or some kind of interference noise. Could this be a grounding problem with my sound card and case? or just the RCA cable
i got the cable from radioshack.. here

thats not the exact one but thats what it looks like.. its radio shack brand i believe.

how can i fix this?

if u need pics of setup tell me i can take some and post them
thanks

So you're going from the computer into some sort of amp/receiver? I suspect that's your problem. Most sound cards are amplified to some extent, while the amp/receiver is expected a preamp signal. Try turning your computer's sound down and your amp way up.

What you really need is a true "line-out" as the old sound cards had. I'd seen old ones with a jack specifically for unamplified signals, and others with jumpers to disable the amp.

the gain? for the speakers? that is set to zero and when i turn things down, it is only clear when it is barely hearable (word?). so i cant turn the stuff down to fix the problem. i can turn it down a little but i still get the interference and im looking for a loud epic sound :D thats y i have ceiling bose speakers :D
