Sounds Drivers Vista

Hey,

I've got Vista installed, but can't get the sound working, apparently the ones on the CD that came with my MOBO aren't designed for Vista, can you find a link for the ones that will work with my MOBO please?

It's a Gigabyte 965PS3 rev 3.3

They're for Intel based MOBO's are they?

Isn't there a way for Vista to DL the right ones for you?

didnt the first one work?

Vista downloaded my audio drivers when i was using onboard audio automaticly and it worked but since i got a soundcard i had to do it manualy.
 
I haven't tried them, I don't know, I'm currently DL'ing the ones off the Gigabyte web site, I hope they work!

Should it DL them automatically? How do I do that?

I had a scary moment before, I went to turn off the cathodes, reached around the back and I heard a crack and I thought I saw something and the comp went off, I thought I'd some how fried it :o

It's Ok though! Phew!
 
I tried the ones off the Gigabyte Web site, that are apparently for XP and Vista, and I got these messages after installing;

yeah try those of the website but if no luck try the one i posted.

thers no hard installing them because if they dont work they can just be uninstaled again :)

Vista should download them automaticly by itself,It downloaded the drivers for both my printers,My gfx card and some other things to do with my motherboard (fast Ethernet adapter) or something along those lines:D

omg i Would have crappedd myself if that happned to my new rig :D

so you dont know what exactly caused it?
