Sounds good?

Hey guys these are my calculations for the A64 Venice 3000+ processor and my memory (DDR433 Kingmax). Could any of you tell me if these calculations are correct? I know that I should not go over 1000Mhz HT and will most likely not even reach 280 Core.
------------------------

MEM VS CORE

1:2 111 222 at 222 Core
2:3 144 288
4:5 177 354
1:1 222 444

1:2 125 250 at 250 Core
2:3 166 333
4:5 200 400
1:1 250 500

1:2 130 260 at 260 Core
2:3 173 346
4:5 208 416
1:1 260 520

222 x 4 = 888Mhz HT
222 x 9 = 2000Mhz

250 x 4 = 1000Mhz HT
250 x 9 = 2250Mhz

260 x 3 = 780Mhz HT
260 x 9 = 2340Mhz

-------------------

Do these sound like they are correct? I can set the ratios listed only. If you have better settings in mind, please suggest them.

Why not?

As for your processor, you've got a 200x10.0 chip so your memory clocks will be (depending on ratio you've chosen) 200, 170, 157, 147, 138, 130, 122, or 100. Just note that memory dividers round in the direction to give you a lower memory speed.

Hey

I have a socket 939 A64 which has a multiplier at 9x, not 10x. Thanx for the clarification. Well I heard that going over 1000 can cause stabilty issues...and is actually useless because there is no difference in performance of the PC when set even to 400HT.
