Source codes?

The closest I know of is the "show all" command in WORD. CTRL + SHIFT + 8

Do Excel and Word files have source codes? If so, how do you view them?

Thanks,
David

lol yeah of course they have source files. They had to be written in some sort of language but good luck on viewing source files on Microsoft software or for a lot of other non free software. The only programs that openly let anyone view their source code are called "open-source" programs. I would have said only 'free' programs allow you to view their source and I would be right by what me and many others consider 'free' programs. That definition is: A program that you don't have to pay for and also freely allows you to view, edit, and modify their source. However, many programs advertise themselves as 'free' and by their definition of free their programs are. Their definition: You don't have to pay to use it but you're not getting your hands on their source.

Those programs are executable so you probably won't be able to view them because they have been converted already to machine code.
