Soyo P4VSA audio driver? where can it be found? thx

I need this audio driver for my Soyo P4VSA board. I've searched all over the web and can't come up with anything. The only driver I downloaded barely worked, VERY LOW volume. Soyo website seems to not work.

The motherboard driver install CD I misplaced.

Anybody got any tips? thx.

Soyo went out of business so you won't be able to access it anymore.. However the P4VSA uses a VIA P4X266 (VT8753+VT8233) chipset. The drivers are fairly common for the VIA AC97 sound in those chips.

thanks for the link, but unfortunately those drivers seem to not work. Any other options? I can't seem to find the fix, there is audio ONLY using VLC player, but very low volume.

Something is wrong.

Might be something wrong with the board itself. The VIA AC 97 audio driver is the only one I know of for that chipset and it seems to run universally for anything that uses it. You might try http://driverguide.com and look for drivers for the VT8753+VT8233 or Soyo P4VSA (P4X266).

Other than that I don't know where else to direct you.
