My grandparents are getting a lot of spam recently:eek: , any suggestions on a good spam blocker that will work with comcast e-mail?
the comcast spam blocker insnt working very well.
It would be best if the blocker would get rid of the emails without being told to stop emails from certin sites.:)
why is the font color not working?:D

If they've given out their e-mail address (knowingly or not) then the chances of the mail actually stopping is very unlikely. Those spammers are relentless. I would just suggest blocking ALL mail accept those added to their "white list/allow list". Anyone who is not on the allow list, will not get through to their inbox. Most mail providers have this option i believe.

That or just ask for a new e-mail address, and be VERY wary of who knows it.

I use a freeware called MailGuard that you can get at download.com. Its very easy to use, but you might have to help them set it up (unless your grandparents are extremely computer savy). What I do is I use it to process all my email that comes in. After using it for about a month it has gotten really good at processing the emails. Its also nice because certain emails I don't want listed as spam, but I don't care to read that particular email (like a newsletter or something) and I can delete it without marking it spam. Only thing is that any emails they do want to read have to be "downloaded" and then viewed through their old viewer. Just a cheap suggestion for you!
