Speccy CPU Temp ?

83 degrees? Is the laptop burning up to the touch, because that's stupid hot.
 
Yeah if it's not spewing out hot air then it's not reading the correct sensor.

Having that ran on Win10 Preview doesn't give me a lot of confidence it's correct, otherwise you would be asking why your computer is always a blazing inferno in your lap. ;)

Thanks guys i just downloaded CORE TEMP software and i get these temp on same Streaming site,see pic.

It still says it's maxed at 84 degrees, but it's sitting in the 50's now, which is better.

In the end, it's still an HP, and HP's have really shitty cooling.

According to that pic its current temp was 82. 57 was the min temp.
 
Totally agree with that. Still may have blockage in the vents or thermal paste needs to be replaced. The DV 5 is at least 5 years old.
