All of those applications that "speed-up" DSL connections and such. Is that really true? Or is it cruddy? Will images that load be fuzzy? I don't want to get it if it doesn't work.
 
They work by compressing the image, making it that bit faster to download (as the file is smaller), not much IMO. You can however set it to heaverly compressed and get distorted image at the fraction of the time. TBH it's not worth the money, but if you can get a demo, try playing around with it.:P

Also remember that you're talking about advertising, they'll say anything to get your attention to buy products. :rolleyes:
 
I think most dont even work. Not worth it at all. Is the Dsl really that slow that u need it
 
I used to have onspeed, obsolute crap IMO, the max I got the line speeded up by was a mere 0.3s at the best of times!
