Speed Up Dial-Up Download

Is there any way to speed up my dial-up download such as keep the download a constant speed or something to that effect. Or is there even a way to speed up a connection on my computer or is it my isp slowing me down

Even if there was a way to speed up downloads it wouldn't work that well because you have dial-up. The connection cannot take that many packets (I hope I worded that one right) at once to download fast enough. Downloads will probably not exceed 100kb (maybe not even 50 or lower). You could try GetRight though, I use that to DL bigger files.
