ok, so, i *just* switched my Radeon 9200 with a Radeon 9600. the 9600 is failing to work better and faster than the 9200. in fact, i see a decrease in performance. whats going on, any ideas?

What applications/games? What version of DirectX do you have?

the windows OS in general. its not smooth, it "jumps", even when i scroll down on a webpage

DRIVERS! ati cards will do that with the default drivers

install the catalyst center that should fix you right up.
