hi,

i was just wandering if i shud set the automatic fan speed on or off? also shud the fan speeds, b set at 100%? wud that screw up my comp as it's using more electricity??
also how do i kno if my voltage readings on speedfan r alrite or not?

i would not set it automatic. if you do certain tihngs, the temp will go up, therefor, you can choose when to change it.
And no, having it at 100% won't hurt, Mine is often at that speed.
not sure about the voltage though....
 
Only time you need set it at 100% is if you are gaming or video editing or something cpu heavy, other wise just let your computer control the fan speed.

You could set it at 100% but it will be noisy and a waste of power.
I leave my case fan on 50% and my cpu at 60% it's quiet and everything stays nice and cool.
 
ya, its ok also to put it down, i put my CPU at 70% and my case fan at 60%, and ocasioly raise the % more, if i need too.
 
100% is perfectly fine. Those fans use almost no power so don't worry about power consumption. All my fans are set at 100% 24/7.
 
k, kool cheers. i think i can withstand the noise at 100%, but still no idea on the voltage readings?
 
opem speedfan and go to the 'chart' tab. Click on voltage, and check them all. you can also go to configuration, and voltage tab....their is a few stuff their.
