Speedify from Speedtest.net?

I honestly don't see how this can be real. You need to remember that an ad is an ad, and just because it advertises something doesn't mean it works.

Snake oil. It's called network teaming or load balancing. That won't increase your Internet speed. If you're straped for bandwidth and add your 4G phone perhaps it could help with that, but your cell carrier may limit what you can pull from the net.

No, I'm not concerned with my speeds really. I just thought it sounded so simple and how does not everyone know about this :) But now I know.

Theoretically you could round-robin all of your local network pathways and somewhat aggregate their bandwidth, but that doesn't really mean you would want to.

Most of those utilities will just blindly send a packet that alternates out each interface so you'll get some erratic performance depending on the link it goes over and the underlying carrier signal (cellular, etc).

Networks that load balance utilize dynamic routing protocols between them to handle this in an intelligent manner (such as EIGRP). This is not an option for the application as you have no remote side peer to manage this with. Therefore your experience could be classified as 'erratic at best'.
