Hi all!

Fist of all, I'll just quickly say, you guys are Awesome! :D

Okay, so basically, just built my new computer, I thought it should be able to run HD 720p NO Problem! But in the display while editing it seems to be lagging! I know people say it's normal, but I thought with my specs it would go away! is there any setting I can change or anything I can do to improve it? maybe assign more ram or...??

Plus Adobe Media Encoder takes ages! is there any tips you guys can give me in the settings or something to just speed Everything up!

My specs are:
CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1055T, Thuban, Sok AM3, 2.8GHz, 9MB Total Cache
Mobo: Asus Crosshair IV Formula
Ram: 4GBs
SDD: 96GB OCZ Technology Vertex, 2.5" SSD, MLC-Flash , Read 235MB/s, Write 170MB/s, 64MB Cache, 17K IOPS
HDD: 2TB Western Digital, SATA 3Gb/s, 7200rpm, 64MB Cache
GPU: 1536MB EVGA GTX480, 40nm, 3696MHz GDDR5, GPU 700MHz, Shader 1401MHz, 480 Cores, 2x DVI, mini HDMI

many MANY Thanks people! :D

More RAM would definitely help, 4GB is very limiting by today's standard, especially if you are going to be editing HD video. I would go with a minimum of 6GB, preferably 8-16GB.

Are you running an illegal copy? A friend of mine downloaded it and it runs completely rubbish. I have a legit copy and runs very fast on 3 year old custom build with less specs than the one your using.
