spell check not working for word

I have office 2007. My word program wont do spell check because it is missing the "proof reading tools for US". Does anyone know how i can fix this. I only installed word, excel, and powerpoint , is there something else i needed.

I got SP1, it still doesn;t work. where can i get the proofreading tools? I think thats what i need. Im wondering if i accidently unchecked something i needed during installation, i tried to install as little as possible.
