Split the Packet...

Hey!

I was wondering if there is any way of splitting packets sent between routers? Say I had a data to be sent from wireless card A so that router B and router C both get half of the data? (I would also kind of need it to work the other way round too)

I dont know if this will make sence but wondering if anyone could help me out.

Cheers for your help,

what would you need to do this for, it doesn't make sence at all, if you want to use 2 routers just get two that work in bridge mode so you can have one big network.

well i was kinda thinkin about making something like raid 0 for networks, where the routers from 2 different locations both send me half of the packet so my pc gets it twice as fast, if you see where im gettin at.

This would prob be really hard to do and take a lot of time, but i have a month or two free from uni :)

It would seem like a good idea, yet if one network went down, or slowed down a lot... it would destroy any speed. 1/2 the packet would be received, yet the other 1/2 would be delayed. If you are trying to increase bandwith, call your ISP see if they have more speed available.
