Hello

I just purchsed a copy of spyware doctor and wanted to know some other peoples opinion on it. Is it a good anti-virus?
 
No and it's not an anti-virus, It's anti-spyware. But it's crap, you wasted your money, should have asked here first..
 
That's a spyware remover not an antivirus program. Programs like Grisoft's AVG free and Professional versions, Trend Micro, Kaspersky, Nod32, and others are antivirus programs. You could have saved some money with Spyware Terminator seeing good reviews and simply a freeware spyware/adware remover. That also includes an active guard on the system registry itself similar to a firewall. http://www.spywareterminator.com/
 
arrr, no im pretty sure its anti-Virus since it says Spyware doctor *With Anti-Virus* on it, according to the ratings and comments some people have left, spyware doctor is apparently pretty good.

What anti viruse would you recommend then
