Spyware Protection 2010 Removal

Hi guys,

My girlfriend's laptop has Spyware Protection 2010 on it and we've been unable to get it off. Tried going into the registry to delete it but even after we did it's still there when we start her computer up normally. Tried running a few programs (the Symnatec removal one) and it failed to catch it. Can't use the internet or open system restore in normal mode. She has a HP Pavilion DV6000.

ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!
 
check it is not running in the start up, some programs wont let you uninstall if they are running, check the processes make sure it isnt running, if it still wont uninstall try going into the c drive, then program files x86, and delete it directly from there manually
