Spyware Terminator and Spybot Search and Destroy - Good Combinaiton?

hey guys,
i have installed spybot s&d and spyware terminator ... are these two good enuf for all round protection?
 
Spyware terminator is fairly new and an all around good product, for free. SB S&D is old, old, old. Of course it gets updated and everything, but I still think it's out of it's prime.

Regardless it's alright spyware protection, on no budget. Make sure you have a good AV. The best free programs are Avast, Avira Antivir, and AVG. Currently I'm using Spyware Terminator, Ad-aware, and Antivir. i also keep clean with HJT and a couple other programs.
 
thnx, ok, so im thinking of uninstalling spybot and replacing it with ad-aware. now wud tht be good enuf?
 
Spyware terminator is a wimp, and never finds anything.

Spybot Search & Destroy is good. So is Spyware Blaster.

Ad-Aware is overrated.

AVG Anti-Spyware is solid.

Says who? :P Show me something solid, you naysayer.

I've seen benchmarks, measuring various spyware detection rates, spyware terminator came out close to the top.

The freeware version never found anything on my PC. Maybe the paid version is better.
 
I am using the freeware version and it's found it's fair share of things. Of course you can't rely on any single, free spyware program so utilizing 2 or more will result in better security.

Use them all, lol.
 
yeah, I use all of them :D:D talk about paranoid

I use Spyware Terminator, Ad-Aware, AVG Anti-Spyware, Spybot S&D

and of course to accompany all of them is CCleaner!! woohoo!! :D:D
