SQL Server for Vista?

Hello..

Does Vista require SQL server to be installed to run or can I uninstall it?
I can't update it, I don't even remember if I installed it or an application did.

How can I uninstall it completely? I don't see any option.
I hope it's not required...I hate it. I don't know what it does for a PC...I don't use my computer as a server at all.

you have the standalone SQL server running on that machine?

It is not on there by default, an application or you installed it

Windows Live Movie Maker installs SQL Server CE 3.1. It's possible that the older Windows Movie Maker did the same, but with an older version of SQL Server.

Just a heads up.
