Squares on screen and randomly crashing!

Hi, this keeps happening to my computer. It randomly crashes with coloured squares across the screen and sometimes won't recover. I can be on the Internet randomly browsing or playing WoW and it will happen! I sent the graphics card back to MSI as it was under warranty still (I have a MSI HD R6950 Twin Frozr III Power Edition/OC 2GB) and they tested it and found no problems. I have replaced the ram and bought a new power supply but it is still doing it!! I have been using an ATI FireGL v7200 256mb while waiting for my new power supply to arrive and the computer was fine apart from getting stuck at the DRAM light and not beeping and booting up but with a few switches off and on it would work.

So basically R6950 gfx card was sent off for testing as I thought it was broken
Used FireGL v7200 while card was away being tested and waiting for new power supply(computer would sometimes get stuck on DAM light and not boot up but apart from that WoW and everything else ran
fine
Got R6950 back and no problems found by MSI
Bought new power supply and changed ram
Computer still randomly freezes with squares across screen

Any ideas as I'm getting so fed up of this now!

Cool it better? But man this seems like a card issue, not a cooling issue. Wonder why MSI didn't fix it.

Could also remotely be a driver issue, try updating your drivers.

It's not getting overly hot though. I have tried reinstalling the drivers and updating them but no luck :(

Looks quite like your Graphics card is slowly dying with those artifacts,Is it still under warranty?

Do you see Artifacts on the screen when in the BIOS or is it only in Windows?

You mean the GPU temp?...there's also VRM temps, faulty Vram etc to consider.

It is under warranty but MSI apparently stressed it for 3 hours straight and was fine. It is only in windows, more so when gaming but still can happen on desktop/internet.

Whats your Power supply?

Does your motherboard have another PCI-E slot free you can try the graphics card in?

It's an OCZ-ZS650W-UK ZS Series 650W '80 Plus Bronze'
And no other free slot, the gfx card is too big, other parts are in the way of the other slots

Power supply is fine. I support the view that your graphics card is on the way out. :(

I am now getting this screen as well as squares and random black and white lines too! If it is the graphics card I am surprised that MSI didn't pick up on anything though! Will try moving the hard drive so I can fit the card in another slot and see if it might be the actual slot.

Can you take a photo of your case inside, so we can see everything is connected,... right.

EDIT: problem already solved
