Srping fell out from laptop DVD drive

I opened the DVD/CD drive of a laptop to insert a CD and then It wouldn't close. So I took the optical drive out of the laptop to see if I could fix anything. When I took it out, 2 really small screws and a spring fell out. I put it back into the laptop without the screws and spring. It closes properly now, but it won't open up when I press the button on it. I have no idea where I'm supposed to put this spring. Below are some links to photos I've taken.

I think I found out where the spring goes, but there is a small piece of plastic that broke off that is supposed to help hold the spring
I still don't know where the screws go, but the drive seems to be fine without them...
