SSD Crashing

I have a custom built computer with an SSD and two other HDs. It has been running great (Windows 7) for months now, but recently it has just randomly started crashing (blue screen) every couple hours or so. When is starts back up at the BIOS it can't find the SSD (boot volume) and then goes and stalls at "Loading Operating System...". If I restart the computer it boots up fine, but the it crashes a couple hours later again. What should I do?

Try to update your SSD firmware perhaps and possibly your BIOS and SATA controller drivers too. Which SSD is this?

I have that drive and it's fine, have you tried updating the firmware? 000F is the latest I think.

Have you checked the temperature of the system, as it may be overheating causing it to shut down after a few hours use.

I would also check that the CPU and Graphic card fans are clear and running freely.

To check download either SIW.EXE and look under sensors or BELARC and it will giive you a printable list of your system state.
