So i know they make SSD hard drives in laptops but is there any SSD drives for desktop use? The reason i ask is because it appeals to me not having moving parts to wear/break down as well as cut down on noise. THanks for the help in advance.

Thanks guys i had kinda looked around and just couldn't seem to find one. I see the drawback here is the small size for the large price?

Would it b possible if building a computer to use that as the main drive to store the OS on and then have maybe a secondary HDD like a normal one to store files and such on? Thanks

yeah i was just reading that. The only reason i ask this is because it seams logical to have as a very efficient and reliable drive not working about the hard disk wearing out over time. But i guess this is just now technology for right now probably in the future im sure. Thanks guys

I remember Vadim Computers entering their Custom PC dream PC with 4 SSD's I think from laptops, all you need is a bay converter.
