I have a small ssd installed, and wondering which is best, since it's too small for my needs as an OS drive, Should I use it for pagefile, or readyboot, or either/both/neither?
I'd say neither, usually you'll just use a flashdrive for readyboost too but it doesn't really give you much better performance (certainly not compared to upgrading RAM). Page file use is pretty much a waste of the SSD.
64 should be plenty for the OS and a couple of apps.
You could probably recover some space by turning off hibernation which takes up a chunk of space equivalent to the amount of RAM you have in your system.
I've got 8 gigs ram. I may reinstall on the ssd and do that, I used to always turn off hybernation yrs ago when drives were smaller, but have nearly forgotten about it since. thanks.
