SSD Priority useage

What is the way to provide the best operation using a 256GB SSD and a 512GB SSD in a PC.

Should the 256GB be used too house the OS and the 512GB to house data, music, video and photos?

Or, should the sequence be reversed?

Either way would work just fine. You do not need to organize them according to size. Question though, do you need the speed increase on your user data? You could always store that on a larger mechanical drive and save a bit of money by dropping one of the SSDs.

"You do not need to organize them according to size."

Thank you. This is what I wanted to know. Since there is no "best" sequence of the two SSD devices, I will use the smaller for OS and the larger for data and things created.

The 2tB Seagate presently in the PC will be taken out and used as an external backup for everything on the PC and new files as created.

It's common to have a small drive/partition for windows operating system and programs while a bigger drive/partition for user personal data (music, photos, office documents, etc...)
