SSD: Vertex 2 or Agility 2?

Title says it all...why go with one over the other? I know about the different IOPS (although I don't know exactly what difference that makes).

Newegg Prices:
Agility 2 90GB 3.5" 180$
Vertex 2 90GB 3.5" 185$
Vertex 2 90GB 2.5" 170$

Also, any reason to spend more on the 3.5" ? Seems odd that it would be more expensive for that one...
 
dont know about the reason,,,none that i know of. where are you, can you buy from newegg? cuz you can get 2 60gb for the same $.
 
Really there is no difference....both are made by OCZ and use the same controller. The only difference is V2 has 50,000 IOPS and Agility has 10,000 IOPS. I was told IOPS are only important in a server environment.

Also no point in spending more for the 3.5. I am not sure why exactly they made a 3.5 either.
 
^ i gathered the same server stuff, so i/o wouldnt seem to matter. I seen the vertex 2 for under 100$ on Neweggy
