Stability Tools

I am ready to start pushing my E6300 above its stock settings however I would like some input on what the general concensus is for a good stability tool to run after I do so.

Any and all opinions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance from your local gearhead/greasemonkey!!

I would like to get to 3ghz since most of what I have read shows people hitting 3.2~3.5 with the same mobo and such!!

Much appreciated, and if I fail and burn something up I will still be around I have my trusty desktop running from last year.

You'll be alright, im not sure but have you been able to find any comparison shots for settings and voltages to use? Im thinking you should be able to do 3.0ghz easy with some more voltage on air.

Yea actually I found a complete write up on the 6300 and then I found a complete write up on how to OC with the mobo I am using.

Its funny but I have to bring my ram down a tad bit but nothing difficult, and had I known that I was going to OC this thing I would not have adjusted the bios to read the ram properly in the first place.

Running stability checks now, its sitting at a pretty 3g. If it holds up I will post some SS as soon as possible.

Thanks for all the info people, after reading all the information available here on C2D OCing it was pretty easy.

Well I couldnt keep it stable at 3g so I had to back it down. 3 hour run by orthos prime 95 resulted in 41c with a clock speed of 2.45. I will try and screw with it some more tomorrow.

thats great, my E6320 oc to 2.333ghz which means fsb 1333. don't want to take any risk to higher clock since my mb only support fsb 1066.
so i just "upgrade" the system to 1 level higher.
