stalker/ saitek cyborg rumble setup HELP

i recently purchased stalker(which rocks!) and wanted to get a controller to be able to play it better. i had a logitech-took it back due to the joysticks. i now have a saitek cyborg rumble. im in xp32bit so i have to use the programming software(i think). well when you setup a profile in the programming software and save it and load it like you're supposed to, i still cant get the controller to work in game. it says profile is loaded... in other software i had to add game exe file to profile to make it work but i dont see a way to do that with this software(sst for saitek cyborg rumble) so really im wondering how to load the game with the controller. is there a place in the game menu i cant find ? or am i missing a step? does anyone have this same controller or some advice concerning stalker ?

any help would be much appreciated

press teh FPS button. the cyborg face on the dpad/left analog stick should turn red.

the controller itself works. it works inside the test menu but when i load the game i get nothing from the controller

hey jnskyliner, how do you load the game? through the game or controller software to make yours work? have you tried it with the same game as me by any chance ?

well, i don't have stalker and i don't use my pad for FPS games. (keyboard and mouse ftw!)

i load my game through the game itself or xfire, never the pad software.

EDIT: i tried it out with Unreal Tournament 3, it works fine. do you have any other gamepad drives installed on your computer at the moment? i had an issue before that my cyborg pad didnt work ingame but functioned well in the control panel. turns out it was conflicting with the drivers of my other gamepad, so i had to uninstall the other one. now, it runs perfectly.

P.S. i didn't change any of the settings on the profile manager, i left it as is.

EDIT2: my previous post about pressing the FPS button and the cyborg face will turn red, is wrong. it turns red when you switch the dpad and left analog stick positions. woops!

when you press the FPS button, the crosshair image on the upper right of the FPS button should illuminate, that will work on FPS games. if you don't have it enabled, it wont run.
