dont know if this is possible, but i know theres a tweak 2 keep the internet connection open with dial-up, is there 1 4 DSL?

The internet doesn't close, your comptuter's networking program closes. I don't see what you are asking.

Not that I know of, silently disconnecting all connections is a 'design feature' of XP

nah it's just i hate leaving my pc on, the only reason why i leave my pc on is 2 stay signed on in AIM...
