Start Computer Problem

Hi Guys!

I'm having such a stupid problem now. Everytime I turn on my computer, Windows will load until the the last shot before you go into the main screen and then it will stop loading( It's like everything freeze and wont take me to the main screen. And what I can do now I will have to use windows XP cd while I turn on my pc then it works. You guys have any idea how can I fix this?

Well if it isn't a big problem to you then try reinstalling windows, maybe it will solve the problem.
 
id check if the heatsink is properly installed, and if there isnt to much or not enough hermal paste between heatsink and CPU ;) because it could be that your mobo shuts down the CPU, cz its overheating, and if it des that, the pc freezes :)
 
use your XP CD to do a system restore, it could possibly be lost/corrupt necessary startup files.

try booting into safe mode as well. if you cant get into safe mode it's almost always lost files. very rarely do i see a computer overheating at the EXACT same process/time multiple times in a row.
 
have you tried running diagnostics (f12 on boot) or hitting f8 on boot and selecting 'last know configuration that worked' and booting from there

Yeah I tried to do 'last know configuration that worked' already but it also did not work..Well anyway I will try the ways above and let you guys know if it works
