start up disk

Hi there

Is is possible to have your start up disk on another platform.

I mean can you use an mp3 player with the start up info on it. or on cd.

Im asking because my disk drive doesn't seem to be working at the moment, its not reading or formatting anything, can't open the disks either

did u set it to boot up in bios?

buy a new floppy. not that expensive.
