What does this message mean that appears lately every time I start my computer ?

APSDaemon.exe. Unable to locate component

This application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

It's part of Apple's software. You must have Itunes running at bootup. Reinstalling the apple software should fix it.

How do I reinstall the apple software ?

Also I ran Regcure and it found a lot of problems but it costs money to get a registration key from them to remove what it found. Is this necessary or is this a rip off ?

Go to apple.com, download iTunes, and reinstall it.

Regcure is garbage. Ignore the issues it found and uninstall it.
