Hey..when i start my computer my program files pops up, can anyone tell me why it does this? Also when I click the internet tab on my keyboard it brings up program files as well...how do you stop this?
Are you running a programmable keyboard like most of us these days? You could have a glitch in the software for that or simply need to reassign or disable that key in the program's settings. For stricly personal preference here I went a little further and simply popped out the Windows and Applications keys to avoid accidently hitting one of those while either in the middle of a timed video capture or even while gaming.
The MS programmable models will have a desktop icon for changing setting for different keys depending on the features there. Logitech and other makes should see an options list for assigning some keys. If you have software installed for the keyboard itself you should see an option to change settings.
Another way of disabling the Windows key requires an edit of the system registry itself. This is something for those familiar with making changes and not advised for beginners since it is simple a 'DO AT YOUR OWN RISK" type of proceedure!
