when my computer starts up, everthing goes fine but then system folder pope up how do i get that to not pop up.

Can you try to explain the problem more clearly? What system folder are you talking about that pops up, is it acutaly a folder that opens up, or a pop up from some software or your web browser?

its the folder that has everything that runnes my comp in it.

Do you mean the "My Computer" folder where it has the drives listed?

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM thats what it is.

hmm..thats odd.

could do "msconfig" in "run" and supply a list of whats checked.
