static sound

i have this weird static sound in my Latitude, like when i minimuzed stuff it's like "reeeeeent", a weird noise that sounds like static 2 me..i was thinking it could be the RAM being filled? or something like that?

and my 240 does the same, when i have the speakers up halfway, you can here the static through the speakers, not sure why lol...

Try installing latest sound drivers.

i've heard similar noises with my inspiron, but i can't hear it through the speakers, only when i'm using headphones.

thats what im thinking, but im trying 2 think if it di that sounds when i 1st got it, i dont think it did..
